Brief details:- Gascogne is one of four luxury gites which when combined on the site are called Mirathon. The tranquil area cannot fail to attract with Bergerac to the north and Bordeaux to the west. Nestling in undulating countryside the gite is surrounded by activities suitable for all ages. You can explore bastide towns, visit historic castles, go wine tasting, cycling, horse riding, play tennis, discover fantastic restaurants, whatever. However, if you simply want to relax in beautiful surroundings, taking an occasional dip in the stunning 11m x5m Roman salt water pool and lying in the sun with a glass of wine in your hand; the choice is yours. |

 | Gascogne is on the ground floor which makes it very suitable for families with young children. Whilst providing the modern conveniences of self catering accommodation, it has been renovated and restored and furnished to a high standard retaining many of its original stones walls and exposed beams. The big living room/kitchen leads onto a 4.30mx3m private patio complete with table chairs and barbecue. From here can be seen the lovely well stocked flower gardens and lawns, the fishpond complete with tinkling fountains and a large barbecue with tables and chairs for 22 people. The grounds are totally secure with mases of space to play games. | |
 | The gite Gascogne has a good sized double bedroom (with shower room adjacent) and leading off is another bedroom, with bunk beds, suitable for children up to 10 years old. Surrounding the fenced salt water pool which has steps at one end and slopes to a depth of 2m are further gardens and terrace with the huge banana trees providing welcome shade. Sun loungers, cushions, parasols and a shower are provided. Guests can enjoy the indoor playroom complete with table tennis and board games whilst there is a further "quiet" room adjoining | |
